Have you ever seen a wild animal get dental surgery? How about a wild lion, cheetah or other animals? The entire process is fascinating to watch. The anesthesia is an important key to the procedures.  Not only is it essential for making sure the animal is sedated, but over doing it can actually kill the animal. At 8 minutes in, the lion actually stops breathing for a longer period of time and is forced to get an antidote. This whole process just goes to show that dental care is just as important for wild animals as it is for people!
